FBI looks for possible accomplices of New Orleans attacker

The FBI has set up a digital tip line and is asking anyone with information or video of the incident to share it

WASHINGTON, January 2. /TASS/. The Federal Bureau of Investigation is identifying possible accomplices of the perpetrator of the terrorist attack in New Orleans, Louisiana, which killed at least 10 people.

"We are aggressively running down all leads to identify any possible associates of the subject," the FBI said in response to a TASS query.

The FBI has set up a digital tip line and is asking anyone with information or video of the incident to share it.

On New Year's Eve, at approximately 3:15 a.m. local time an individual drove a pickup truck into a crowd of people on Bourbon Street in New Orleans, killing at least 10 and injuring 35 others. After hitting the crowd, he exited the vehicle and fired upon local law enforcement. Law enforcement returned fire and the subject was pronounced deceased at the scene, the FBI said.
