Over 3,600 courtyards, 2,000 households flooded in Russia’s Orenburg

According to the city Mayor Sergey Salmin, the flooded area is not expanding even though the water level is rising

ORENBURG, April 11. /TASS/. More than 3,600 courtyards and 2,000 households have been flooded in the city of Orenburg in Russia’s southern Urals, Mayor Sergey Salmin told reporters.

"By now, over 3,600 yards and 2,000 households have been inundated. The situation remains difficult and tense," he said.

According to Salmin, the flooded area is not expanding in the city even though the water level is rising.
