MOSCOW, January 9. /TASS/. Russian air defense systems destroyed 10 shells of the RM-70 Vampire multiple launch rocket system (MLRS) over the Belgorod region, according to the Russian Ministry of Defense.

"On December 8, at about 21:30 Moscow time, an attempt by the Kiev regime to carry out a terrorist attack using the RM-70 Vampire multiple launch rocket system on targets on the territory of the Russian Federation was stopped. The on-duty air defense systems destroyed 10 rockets over the Belgorod region," the defense ministry said.

It was reported earlier on Monday that two men and a woman received shrapnel wounds during shelling from the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Belgorod region, Governor Vyacheslav Gladkov said in his Telegram channel.
