Ukraine shells Russia’s borderline Belgorod region, minor damage reported

BELGOROD, November 1. /TASS/. Three households and a power line were damaged on Tuesday night, when the armed forces of Ukraine shelled the city of Shebekino in southwestern Russia’s Belgorod Region that borders Ukraine, Governor Vyacheslav Gladkov said.

"According to preliminary information, there have been no casualties. Shell fragments smashed windows, shattered walls and fences in three households. Also, a power line was damaged," the governor said.

He said that damage would be assessed in daytime.
