Louisville shooter identified as 23-year-old bank worker - police

The shooter was neutralized and died at the scene three minutes after the call was received

NEW YORK, April 11. /TASS/. Police have identified the gunman in Monday's shooting in Louisville, Kentucky, as 23-year-old Connor Sturgeon, who worked at the Old National Bank.

Around 08:30 local time (15:30 Moscow time), law enforcement authorities arrived at the bank branch at the scene of the shooting. The shooter was neutralized and died at the scene three minutes after the call was received. The attacker's motives have not yet been determined.

The gunman was armed with an AR-15 rifle, according to police. Three men and one woman between the ages of 40 and 64 were killed, while nine others were hospitalized - three of them, including a police officer, are in critical condition.
