TurkStream operator sues Gasunie subsidiary, Ukraine's Naftogaz in Russian court

The claim was filed on November 5

MOSCOW, November 6. /TASS/. South Stream Transport B.V., the operator of the TurkStream gas pipeline, has filed a lawsuit in the Arbitration Court of the Moscow Region against Dutch gas grid operator Gasunie Transport Services (GTS) and Ukraine's Naftogaz, according to court records.

The claim was filed on November 5, with a hearing scheduled for December 1. Russian gas monopoly Gazprom is listed as a third party in the case.

The dispute brought by South Stream Transport B.V. concerns the determination of procedures for fulfilling obligations and seeks a court declaration that no payment obligation exists, court documents show.

South Stream Transport B.V. operates the offshore TurkStream pipeline, which transports Russian natural gas across the Black Sea to consumers in Turkey and southern Europe.
