Russia’s MOEX and RTS indices added 0.77% to 2,474.26 and 952.93 points, respectively, as the main trading session started on Friday, according to trading data as of 9:00 a.m. Moscow time (6:00 a.m. GMT). The yuan exchange rate against the ruble lost 1.55 kopecks compared to previous closing to 12.204 rubles.

As of 9:20 a.m. Moscow time (6:20 a.m. GMT), the indices were up by 0.87% at 2,476.69 and 953.86 points, respectively. Meanwhile the yuan exchange rate was down by 1.85 kopecks at 12.2 rubles.

The MOEX Index gained 0.57% as morning trading session started on the Moscow Exchange as of 7:00 a.m. Moscow time (4:00 a.m. GMT) to 2,469.48 points.
