US gasoline prices reach record high values since July 2022

California keeps the highest prices, where consumers had to pay $6 in average per gallon of gasoline

NEW YORK, May 5. /TASS/. Fuel prices at retail sites in the United States continue growing and reach record high figures since late July 2022, according to the American Automobile Association.

The average price per gallon (3.79 liters) of gasoline in the US equals $4.483 now, while it was $4.176 a week ago.

California keeps the highest prices, where consumers had to pay $6.131 in average per gallon of gasoline. This indicator was below $6 just a week ago.
