Russia boosts non-resource non-energy exports to $163.6 bln in 2025 — ministry

This result demonstrates the demand for Russian products in foreign markets, Roman Chekushov noted

ST. PETERSBURG, April 3. /TASS/. The volume of Russia’s non-resource non-energy exports increased by 11% in 2025 to $163.6 bln, Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade Roman Chekushov said.

"Foreign trade is growing more than rapidly. We see that even last year, non-resource non-energy exports, which are the focus of our work, grew quite significantly, by 11%, having reached $163.6 bln," he said at the International Transport and Logistics Forum, adding that this is much higher than planned in previous periods for 2025.

This result demonstrates the demand for Russian products in foreign markets, Chekushov noted. "We are constantly finding new formats for their sale, and most importantly, exports are sufficiently diversified," he said.

Supplies of fertilizers, pharmaceuticals and cosmetics, small-tonnage chemicals, and mechanical engineering products are on the rise, the official said.

The International Transport and Logistics Forum is taking place from April 1 to 3, 2026, in St. Petersburg. TASS is its general information partner.
