Rosneft produces 79.6 bln cubic meters of gas in 2025

In Q4, gas production rose 12.4% on the quarter to 21.3 bln cubic meters

MOSCOW, April 1. /TASS/. Rosneft’s gas production for 2025 amounted to 79.6 bln cubic meters (bcm), or 1.33 mln barrels per day of oil equivalent, the company reported.

In particular, Q4 2025 gas production amounted to 21.3 bcm (+12.4% quarter-on-quarter).

"The indicator performance was due to the scheduled preventive maintenance at the key assets. The company’s primary goal for the near future is to maintain gas production at the current level," according to the report.

Development drilling exceeded 11.8 mln meters last year, and over 3,000 new wells were commissioned, 74% of them being horizontal wells.
