MOSCOW, March 13. /TASS/. Tatneft's oil production in 2024 decreased by 4.1% compared to 2023 to 27.28 mln tons, the company said in a statement.
The company’s average daily oil production amounted to 531,000 barrels per day (bpd) against 555,000 bpd a year earlier.
Tatneft also reduced gas production by 5.4% to 871 mln cubic meters. At the same time, the production of oil products increased by 1.2% to 17.1 mln tons, while the production of gas products decreased by 12.9% to 955,000 tons. Oil refining decreased by 0.3% to 341,000 bpd.
Tatneft is one of the ten largest Russian companies in terms of oil production. The main shareholder of Tatneft is the Republic of Tatarstan, which owns 34% of the company's ordinary shares, while around 3% are treasury shares, 13% are placed in ADR. Other shareholders own 50% of the shares.
