Russia, Kazakhstan discussed new oil, gas supply routes

"These are very beneficial, interesting and promising routes and perspective projects," the Russian president pointed out

ASTANA, November 28. /TASS/. An opportunity for new routes of oil and gas supplies to other countries was discussed during talks with President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, Russian leader Vladimir Putin said.

"We also discussed the opportunities of creating new routes for our oil and gas pumping to third countries, primarily to China, including over the territory of Kazakhstan. These are very beneficial, interesting and promising routes and perspective projects," the Russian president said.

"Certainly, they will facilitate stabilization of the global economy and, certainly, in the Asia-Pacific Region in the first instance. It will also create additional opportunities for the work in the markets," Putin added.
