Russian budget for 9M 2024 performed with $5.4 bln surplus — PM

MOSCOW, November 28. /TASS/. The nine-month budget was performed with the surplus of almost 580 bln rubles owing to receipts from the non-oil and gas sector, Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin said at a Cabinet meeting.

The budget was "performed with the surplus: revenues were almost 580 bln rubles above expenses, which was caused by stable growth of earnings from non-resource industries and non-oil and gas sector," the prime minister said.

"Investments were increased to support innovative business, launch modern production facilities, produce goods and services, and organize jobs," Mishustin added.

"Resolution of such tasks will make it possible to create the economy of supply and progress to a new development level," the prime minister stressed.
