MOSCOW, November 13. /TASS/. Russia’s foreign trade surplus increased by $0.9 bln in October 2024 to $11.8 bln from $10.9 bln in the previous year, according to preliminary estimates by the Bank of Russia.
"Surplus of the balance of foreign trade in goods decreased to $11.8 bln compared with the revised result in September 2024 due to a more notable drop in export of goods compared with contraction of imports," the regulator said.
Surplus of Russia's foreign trade balance rose by $14.3 bln in January-October 2024 year-on-year to $115.4 bln.
Meanwhile, current account surplus amounted to $58.1 bln in the reporting period (up from $44.2 bln in the previous year).
