Russia’s GDP growth exceeds 4% in three quarters of 2024 — PM

MOSCOW, November 12. /TASS/. Russia’s GDP growth exceeded 4% in the first three quarters of this year despite sanctions, Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin said.

"Despite the unprecedented pressure this year, the dynamics of Russia’s GDP growth seriously <…> surpasses that in [countries that] imposed sanctions [against Russia]. In the first three quarters growth exceeded 4% whereas certain European countries virtually face stagnation as you know," he said at a strategic session of the Russian government.

"It is important for us to ensure continuation of active development, particularly creating a supply-side economy," the head of the cabinet noted.
