MOSCOW, March 4. /TASS/. Rusagro filed documents to the regulatory authority of Cyprus to launch redomiciliation to the Russky Island in Russia, corporate development director of the agricultural holding Alexander Tarasov said at an online conference.
"We reported during the past conference call that we are doing work on redomiciliation to the Russky Island. We submitted documents to Cyprus regulators for a license to do this. We are waiting. As soon as it is received, we will immediately start all the required shareholder action to launch the redomiciliation process," Tarasov said.
"The logic for dividends remains the same. Our task is not to infringe upon rights of a single our shareholders and as soon as we will be able to make redomiciliation, because not all our shareholders can receive dividends without it, we will return to dividend payments by the group," the senior executive added, answering the question about dividend payments.
The parent company of the Rusagro group is registered in Cypris. Rusagro is one of major Russian agricultural holdings, with leading positions in production of sugar, pig breeding, vegetable planting and oils and fats business.
