MOSCOW, February 20. /TASS/. Russia’s grain exports may total 66.7 mln tons during this agricultural year (from July 1, 2023 to June 30, 2024), according to a presentation of Head of the market analysis division of Rusagrotrans Igor Pavensky presented at Grain Forum 2024. Dubai.
In particular, wheat exports may reach 52.4 mln tons, the presentation said.
Russia’s grain exports from the beginning of this agricultural year to February 2024 are expected at 46.6 mln tons, which is 20% higher than in the same period last year, according to the presentation. In particular, wheat exports are projected at 35.6 mln tons.
Among top five importers of Russian wheat since the beginning of this agricultural year have been Turkey (4.4 mln tons), Egypt (3.7 mln tons), Bangladesh (2.5 mln tons), Pakistan (1.8 mln tons), Algeria (1.6 mln tons).
Russian Agriculture Minister Dmitry Patrushev said last November that the country's grain exports were expected to exceed 65 mln tons by the end of this agricultural year.
