Russia to see fertilizer exports recovery in 2023 — Association

Three quarters of exports are now supplied to Global South countries, while India and Brazil are top selling markets

MOSCOW, December 27. /TASS/. Russia will restore exports of fertilizers to the level of 2021 and growth will continue next year, head of the Russian Association of Fertilizer Producers Andrey Guryev said.

"We expect the recovery of export volume indicators to the level of 2021," Guryev said, cited by the Association.

According to the Association, Russia can reduce fertilizer supplies to unfriendly countries by 15-20% this year after the drop by 25-30% in 2022 (to ten mln metric tons). Three quarters of exports are now supplied to Global South countries, while India and Brazil are top selling markets.
