MOSCOW, December 27. /TASS/. Gas consumption in Europe has fallen by more than 100 bln cubic meters since 2021 to 490 bln cubic meters by the end of this year, Russian Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak said in an interview aired by the Rossiya-24 TV news channel.
"Europe is facing several factors that strongly influence its current state. We see that gas consumption in Europe has fallen by more than 100 bln cubic meters since 2021 from 609 bln to 490 bln expected this year," he said.
Gazprom said earlier that gas consumption in European countries lost 34 bln cubic meters in the first 11 months of this year, reaching the level of 1996.
