Rosatom refutes reports about suspension of uranium supplies to US

"We have always met our contractual obligations in full and on time and will continue to do so in the future," the statement noted

MOSCOW, December 15. /TASS/. Tenex (a Rosatom company) completely refuted information concerning "warnings" attributed to Tenex's US branch about the prospect of a "preemptive" ban of enriched uranium deliveries to the United States, Rosatom press office said.

"Neither Tenex nor its subsidiaries have provided such notices to their foreign customers. We have always met our contractual obligations in full and on time and will continue to do so in the future," the statement noted.

The day before, Bloomberg reported, citing sources inside US companies, that Tenex had informed its American clients that if lawmakers in Washington passed a law prohibiting imports, the Kremlin would restrict the export of nuclear fuel to the US.
