Germany pays 30% more for energy commodities after rejecting Russian resources

Vladimir Putin stressed that Russia is not going to follow political motives when supplying gas to Europe

MOSCOW, December 14. /TASS/. Germany is currently buying energy resources from the United States at a price that is 30% higher than for Russian resources before, President Vladimir Putin said at the combined Direct Line Q&A session and year-end press conference.

"[Germany] is now receiving energy resources from the United States priced 30% higher than before, from the Russian Federation," the Russian leader said.

Russia is not going to follow political motives when supplying gas to Europe and exports were directed because of a new center of economic growth appearing that needs oil, gas, and coal, the President added.
