MOSCOW, November 10. /TASS/. The number of Ukrainian dollar billionaires decreased over the year from nine to two, the Ukrainian publication NV reported.
According to the publication’s study, only Rinat Akhmetov with a fortune of $6.59 billion and Victor Pinchuk with $1.72 billion remained on this list. At the same time, Akhmetov lost 43% of the value of his assets over the year, and Pinchuk - 34%.
The richest people in Ukraine also included Pyotr and Alexey Poroshenko with $954 million (a loss of 37%), Galina and Alexander Garega with $907 million (a loss of 38%), Vlad Yatsenko with $894 million (a loss of 30%), Alexey Shevchenko with $865 million (a 124% loss), Maxim Litvin with $865 million (a 124% loss), Vadim Novinsky with $852 million (a 65% loss), Igor Kolomoisky with $632 million (a 55% loss) and Andrey Verevsky with $567 million (a 10% loss).
The experts who conducted the study analyzed the operating and financial results of businesses, took into account military risks and real losses of assets, the dynamics of revenue and debt. Also, with the help of consultations with investment bankers, they took into account the market ratio for valuing companies by industry, taking into account military risks. In the case of public companies, data on the market capitalization of companies was used.
