MOSCOW, October 30. /TASS/. The government has simplified procedures for opening accounts and deposits in Russia for companies and citizens from 25 friendly countries, Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin said at a meeting with his deputies

"The signed order defines a list of 25 countries whose citizens and legal entities will be able to open accounts and deposits in Russian banks in a simplified manner," he said.

"Creating more comfortable conditions for foreign enterprises and entrepreneurs is an important part of the government’s systemic efforts to achieve financial sovereignty as part of the implementation of the national goals set by our President," Mishustin said.

He explained that, in particular, such an opportunity will be provided to companies and citizens of Belarus, Brazil, India, Kazakhstan, China, Saudi Arabia, Turkey, etc.

"Before entering Russia foreign citizens will need to submit a package of necessary documents to a credit institution in their country. Upon arrival, they will already be able to make payments in our banks," the Prime Minister said.
