Zero income tax rate for IT companies to stay until end of 2024 — minister

The measure will be in effect for companies being able to contribute or invest money in production development

MOSCOW, October 26. /TASS/. The zero income tax rate for Russian IT companies will be in effect until the end of the next year, Minister for Digital Development Maksut Shadaev said in an interview with the Rossiya-24 television channel.

"We have made an important decision that we will have the zero income tax rate in effect until the end of 2024, exactly for companies being able to contribute or invest money in production development that they pay to the budget as the income tax," the minister noted.

This measure has fully proved its value, Shadaev noted. "Certainly, we will suggest continuing this measure. However, this will the matter of the government, budget balancing further on," he added.
