MOSCOW, March 8. /TASS/. Russia’s Battlegroup West caused Ukraine to lose over 250 troops, two Starlink satellite terminals and two ammunition depots in the past day, battlegroup spokesman Ivan Bigma said.
"The enemy lost over 250 troops, and four motor vehicles in the past 24 hours. Two Ukrainian service members surrendered. Six field artillery systems, including three Western-made pieces, as well as six Ukrainian mortar squads, were destroyed by counterbattery fire. In addition, two Starlink satellite terminals, 21 drone control points and two enemy ammunition depots were also wiped out," Bigma specified.
The battlegroup’s air defense units shot down 12 fixed-wing drones.
According to the spokesman, the battlegroup continued to move deeper into enemy defenses, hitting the troops and equipment of two Ukrainian mechanized brigades near Redkodub, Novaya Kruglyakovka, Kondrashovka, Yampol and Lozovaya.
