US fears Kiev may sell software for Storm Shadow missiles — expert

British-made Storm Shadow missiles have reportedly become "useless" for the Ukrainian military, as their deployment requires U.S. intelligence

LUGANSK, March 7. /TASS/. U.S. authorities are concerned that the command of the Ukrainian armed forces may sell software related to Storm Shadow missiles. As a result, London has been prohibited from sharing intelligence with the Kiev regime, military expert Vitaly Kiselev told TASS.

British-made Storm Shadow missiles have reportedly become "useless" for the Ukrainian military, as their deployment requires U.S. intelligence, which has been cut off from Ukraine following a decision by former President Donald Trump, according to the British newspaper Daily Mail. Sources indicate that the U.S. not only halted the transmission of intelligence to Ukraine, but also forbade Britain from sharing it with Kiev.

"London prepared and programmed this type of missile, as only highly specialized experts can work with them - program, guide, assign flight paths, and prepare them for launch. Ukrainians were never permitted to operate these weapons. The process involves highly classified data, so only NATO specialists have handled them. The West does not trust Ukrainians. What if they attempt to steal this data?" Kiselev speculated.

Trump ordered the suspension of all military aid to Ukraine shortly after a contentious meeting with Vladimir Zelensky at the White House on February 28. This decision took effect the morning of March 4 and applies to all U.S. military equipment not currently in Ukraine, including weapons on planes and ships or awaiting shipment in transit zones in Poland.
