MOSCOW, March 7. /TASS/. The US space company Maxar Technologies has blocked Ukraine's access to its satellite images, Ukraine’s Militarny news outlet reported, citing sources.
According to them, access to the company's data was blocked "upon an administrative request." Such a response was received by users of the service, the news outlet said.
Militarny pointed out that Maxar is the main supplier of commercial satellite images for the Ukrainian armed forces.
Earlier, UK’s Daily Mail newspaper reported that the United States no longer shares intelligence with Ukraine on the decision of President Donald Trump. The newspaper pointed out that the country not only stopped sending US intelligence to Ukraine, but also banned the UK from sharing it with Kiev.
A Pentagon spokesman responded to a TASS request to clarify whether the United States was providing intelligence to Kiev by saying that the Defense Department had received orders to suspend all assistance to Ukraine. The Fox News TV channel quoted CIA Director John Ratcliffe as saying that the US had suspended the exchange of intelligence with Ukraine.
US President Donald Trump ordered the suspension of all military aid to Ukraine a few days after a dispute with Vladimir Zelensky at the White House on February 28. The decision took effect on the morning of March 4. It applies to all US military equipment not currently in Ukraine, including weapons transported by air and sea or awaiting further shipment in transit zones in Poland.
