CPC oil terminal on scheduled shutdown from April 10 — company

The consortium reported earlier that it planned to pump about 66 mln metric tons of crude oil over its pipeline system this year

MOSCOW, April 12. /TASS/. The marine terminal of the Caspian Pipeline Consortium (CPC) on the Black Sea will not perform oil throughput and intake to the tankfarm in view of a scheduled shutdown, the pipeline operator said on Wednesday.

"The CPC marine terminal does not perform oil throughput via the single point mooring and do not take oil to the tankfarm from April 10 to date in connection with the scheduled shutdown," CPC informed.

In this regard, CPC facilities cannot be the source of volatile organic compounds with unpleasant odors, with complaints in this regard made by local residents lately, the company noted.

The consortium reported earlier that it planned to pump about 66 mln metric tons of crude oil over its pipeline system this year.
