IMF improves Russian GDP outlook for 2023 — report

WASHINGTON, April 11. /TASS/. The International Monetary Fund (IMF) has improved the estimate of Russian economic development in 2023, the Fund said in its report on global economic development prospects released on Tuesday.

IMF expects the Russian national GDP to grow by 0.7% in 2023 and by 1.3% in 2024.

Inflation in Russia was 13.8% in average in Russia last year, IMF said. The Fund predicts it will drop to 7% in 2023 and to 4.6% in 2024.
