Forbes adds six Russians to its list of billionaires

Among them is Andrey Krivenko, the founder of the Vkusvill retail chain, with a fortune of $2.1 billion

MOSCOW, April 5. /TASS/. Six new Russian billionaires, among them Andrey Krivenko, Seyfeddin Rustamov, Denis Shtengelov, Pavel Golubkov, Dmitry Nikolayev, have been included on the Forbes list of billionaires, according to information released on the magazine’s website.

The founder of the VkusVill retail chain Andrey Krivenko (ranked 59th in Russia and 1,434th globally) with a net worth of $2.1 bln could have been included in Forbes’ rankings last year, the publication said. However, this did not happen as the value of Russian retailers’ and other traded companies’ shares fell after the onset of the special operation in Ukraine.

Seyfeddin Rustamov who controls the chemical holding Metafrax Group headquartered in Perm’s Gubakha, is 90th in Russia and 2,133rd globally. His fortune is estimated at $1.3 bln. Metafrax Chemicals produces a quarter of all methanol in Russia, as well as controls Metadynea’s formaldehyde and synthetic resin plants in the Perm Region, the Moscow Region and Austria, the magazine said.

Denis Shtengelov, the founder of KDV Group and Yarche retail chain is the 94th-richest person in Russia and 2,133rd globally with a fortune worth $1.3 bln.

The rating also includes the main shareholder of Samolet Group of Companies Pavel Golubkov with a fortune worth $1.1 bln (ranked 102nd in Russia and 2,405th globally), CEO of Stroyservice Dmitry Nikolayev with a fortune of $1.1 bln (ranked 105th in Russia and 2,405th globally), according to the publication.
