HANOI, April 5. /TASS/. FESCO takes note of significant growth of maritime cargo shipping between Vietnam and Russia, deputy commercial director of the shipping group Alexander Priskoka told TASS on the sidelines of the Vietnam Expo - 2023.
FESCO launched the FESCO Vietnam Direct Line (FVDL) regular sea line connecting Vietnam’s ports with Vladivostok last year, the senior manager said. "We noticed in October 2022 that the cargo volume is above the capacity of a single vessel and we added therefore one more vessel. We intend to have more," Priskoka noted.
The number of cargo shipments to Russia from Vietnam is steadily growing, Priskoka said. "Vietnamese producers are ready to work with Russia. There are some difficulties in terms of finance during payments for goods they are supplying but Vietnam is fully open and fully oriented towards interaction with the Russian business as regards logistics, communications with Russian customers and the desire to work," he added.
