MOSCOW, April 4. /TASS/. Gazprom Neft plans to produce 5.08 mln tons of hydrocarbons at the Novy port field in the Arctic, Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak wrote in an article for the Energy Policy magazine.
"Gazprom Neft continues implementing the project on supply of oil from the Novy Port field. In 2024, the company plans to produce 5.08 mln tons of oil," he wrote.
Earlier reports said that the infrastructure constructed at the field and the coast of the Gulf of Ob permits supplying up to 8.5 mln tons of oil annually.
Novoportovskoye is one of the largest oil and gas condensate fields under development in Yamal. It is located 30 km away from the coast of the Gulf of Ob. Recoverable reserves of categories C1 and C2 exceed 250 mln tons of oil and condensate, as well as 320 bln cubic meters of gas. In 2020, 14.87 mln tons of oil equivalent were produced here, which is 5% higher than in 2019.
