PM greenlights increase in Russian government’s reserve fund

The cabinet’s reserve fund has been created for contingent and federal financing beyond the law on federal budget for a respective financial year

MOSCOW, March 6. /TASS/. Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin has signed a decree on increasing the government’s reserve fund by more than 154.5 bln rubles ($2 bln). A corresponding decree has been published.

The Finance Ministry has been tasked with implementing it using the federal budget’s fund balance that was not executed last year, including 3.7 bln rubles envisioned earlier for targeted subsidies to regions, according to the document.
