MOSCOW, January 24. /TASS/. Russia’s developer of computer vision-based solutions VisionLabs is entering the Indian market, the company’s press service said, adding that an office in New Delhi has been opened.
"VisionLabs company, one of the leaders in the realm of computer vision and machine learning, is entering the Indian market. A new office in New Delhi will guide projects in South Asia and bolster cooperation with local companies," according to a statement published on Tuesday.
Among the main reasons for developing VisionLabs business in India were the country’s annual economic growth, as well as a low saturation of the computer vision-based technology market.
"VisionLabs is already implementing a couple of projects with local partners and discussing the possibility of introducing AI solutions in various Indian regions with key clients, from airports and municipalities to the country’s major IT corporations," the press service noted.
VisionLabs has offices and missions in the Netherlands, the UAE, as well as key partners and clients in Singapore, the US, Japan, and in the Middle East. Overall, the company’s technologies are employed in over 35 countries throughout the world. Among the projects that have already been introduced, are a control system for construction workers at Olympic facilities in Japan, a biometric security system in Charles de Gaulle Airport in Paris, and a service for remote verification of clients in the UAE’s biggest bank Emirates NBD.
