Russia ready to ramp up non-resource exports to Turkmenistan — Economy Minister

It is stated that Russia is interested in an increase of deliveries of agricultural produce and textile from Turkmenistan

ASHGABAT, January 19. /TASS/. Russia is ready to scale up its non-resource exports to Turkmenistan, including chemicals and pipes, Minister of Economic Development Maxim Reshetnikov said at the Russia-Turkmenistan business forum.

"In our turn, we are ready to boost non-resource exports and complex products [exports]: chemicals, machinery, tubes and pipes, and oil and gas equipment, the Minister said.

Such products are required for implementation of large-scale infrastructural projects proactively implemented in Turkmenistan at present, Reshetnikov said.

Russia is interested in an increase of deliveries of agricultural produce and textile from Turkmenistan, he added.
