Russia will continue to supply grain, fertilizers and energy carriers — MFA

According to Maria Zakharova, by the end of the year, Russia will be able to supply about 25 million tonnes of grain and at least 22 million tonnes of fertilizers to the international market

MOSCOW, June 22. /TASS/. Russia is ready to continue to fulfil obligations on exports of grain, fertilizers and energy carriers, Russian Foreign Ministry Spokeswoman Maria Zakharova told a briefing on Wednesday.

"In turn we confirm our readiness to further fulfil our obligations on exports of grain, fertilizers and energy carriers, as well as other critically important products," the diplomat said.

According to Zakharova, by the end of the year, Russia will be able to supply about 25 million tonnes of grain and at least 22 million tonnes of fertilizers to the international market.

"Despite the unprecedented sanctions pressure, we continue commercial supplies of food through bilateral channels and provide food assistance to those in need through the relevant World Food Program. In particular, these are Yemen, Kyrgyzstan, Lebanon, Sudan, Tajikistan, Cuba," she said.
