MOSCOW, April 18. /TASS/. Russia’s government has decided to extend the program for supporting private investments in the Arctic and in the Far East, Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin said at a meeting with his deputies on Monday.

"The government has decided to extend the program for supporting private investment in those regions. Now it will be possible to apply for subsidized loans for projects providing at least 250 jobs, with an obligatory condition to complete them as planned," he pointed out.

Earlier, President Vladimir Putin set a task to implement prior investment projects in the Russian Arctic zone, PM noted. "Today private investors with the state’s support are implementing over 3,000 such projects in the Arctic and the Far East," he said.
