Times New Roman font developer stops working with Russian companies

The company will continue keeping an eye on the situation and updating its policy accordingly

MOSCOW, April 14. /TASS/. Monotype, the title holder to Times New Roman, Verdana, Arial, Helvetica and Tahoma fonts, informs about suspension of interaction with Russian companies, a spokesperson of the US-based company told TASS.

"I regret saying that considering current circumstances of sanctions and international relations with Russia, we are unable at present to run any business relations with Russian companies or their subsidiaries. We will continue keeping an eye on the situation and updating our policy accordingly," the company said.

The Vedomosti newspaper reported earlier, citing a source in a Russian IT company, that Monotype restricted access to its library on the website for Russian users.
