MOSCOW, April 12. /TASS/. The ruble weakened against the dollar (the dollar exchange rate gained 1.35% to 80.13 rubles) and the euro (the euro exchange rate added 0.52% to 86.72 rubles) during foreign currency trading on Moscow Exchange on Tuesday compared with the previous closing, according to trading data as of 10:49 am Moscow time.

The dollar exchange rate was down by 0.08% at 79 rubles, while the euro exchange rate was flat at 86.27 rubles as Tuesday trading opened.

The MOEX Index was down by 2.31% at 2,498.41 points, while the RTS was down by 3.38% at 982.69 points as of 10:57 am. As of 10:00 am, the MOEX was up by 0.08% at 2,559.22 points, while the RTS was up by 0.26% at 1,019.68 points.
