Russian Railways to suspend shipments to Poland from April 10

The measure is taken to avoid the buildup of rolling stock and delays in transfer of goods via this border crossing, the company informed

MOSCOW, April 7. /TASS/. Russian Railways will suspend shipments of all goods via Mamonovo-Braniewo railway crossing point to Poland, the company’s press service said on Thursday.

"In view of repairs on the infrastructure on the territory of Poland, shipments of all goods via Mamonovo-Braniewo (Kaliningrad Region) border crossing point are prohibited from April 10 and until cancellation," Russian Railways said.

The measure is taken to avoid the buildup of rolling stock and delays in transfer of goods via this border crossing, the press service of the railway operator said.
