Gazprom Germania must stop using Gazprom’s trademarks — company

Gazprom Germania is the operator of several large gas storages in Germany

MOSCOW, April 5. /TASS/. Gazprom Germania and Gazprom Marketing & Trading must stop using Gazprom’s trademarks and the holding also recalled their representatives from management bodies of companies, Gazprom said. The decision was made after establishment of trust management of Gazprom Germania GmbH by the Germany’s Federal Network Agency.

"Gazprom Germania GmbH, companies controlled by it, including Gazprom Marketing & Trading Ltd., and their investment objects must stop using Gazprom’s trademarks, including in names and brand images, to avoid further association of their operations with the Gazprom Group," the Russian holding said.

"Gazprom Group will also recall its representatives from management authorities of Gazprom Germania GmbH, companies controlled by it and its investment targets," the holding added.

Gazprom Germania is the operator of several large gas storages in Germany.
