VILNIUS, April 3. /TASS/. The Baltic states have stopped importing Russian natural gas, Agence France Presse (AFP) reported on Sunday referring to CEO of Conexus Baltic Grid, Uldis Bariss.

"Since April 1 Russian natural gas is no longer flowing to Latvia, Estonia and Lithuania," he told the Latvian radio.

Earlier, the Lithuanian Energy Ministry said that it has fully abandoned imports of Russian gas.

As the data of the Lithuanian gas transmission system operator Amber Grid shows, as of April 2, the import of Russian gas for Lithuania’s needs through the Lithuanian-Belarusian interconnection was equal to 0 MWh.
