Gazprom notes recovery of gas export prices, says CEO

High volumes of gas production by the company make possible to fully meet the gas demand on domestic and international markets, Miller said

MOSCOW, January 19. /TASS/. Gazprom takes note of gas export prices recovery in the second half of 2020 and later on, Chief Executive Officer of the gas holding Alexei Miller said on Tuesday at the meeting with President Vladimir Putin.

"Markets stabilized in the second half of the year and we see now that volumes of the second half are good and, most importantly, prices started recovering," the top manager said.

High volumes of gas production by the company make possible to fully meet the gas demand on domestic and international markets, Miller said.

According to data of the Federal Customs Service, export prices of Russian gas were above $100 per 1,000 cubic meters from September 2020, while they were in the range of $82-94 per 1,000 cubic meters in May - August 2020.
