Battlegroup North UAV crews destroy over 10 Ukrainian UAV control centers near Kharkov

A Russian serviceman, call sign Svat, said the enemy is constantly attempting to strike the civilian population and civilian infrastructure

BELGOROD, August 11. /TASS/. Unmanned systems crews of Russia’s Battlegroup North’s 71st Guards Motorized Rifle Division, the 14th Army Corps, have destroyed over 10 Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) control centers in the Kharkov Region since the beginning of August, an unmanned systems unit commander with the call sign Svat told TASS.

"Crews operating Molniya-2-type unmanned aerial vehicles and FPV drones of the Battlegroup North’s 71st Guards Motorized Rifle Division, the 14th Army Corps, have identified and destroyed more than 10 enemy UAV control centers in the Kharkov Region since the beginning of August. The enemy is constantly attempting to strike the civilian population and civilian infrastructure. Therefore, locating such targets and destroying them is our unit’s top priority," he said.

Svat noted that Battlegroup North strike and reconnaissance UAV crews operate in coordination and are on constant standby in their area of responsibility in the Kharkov area.
