MINSK, May 26. /TASS/. Belarusian reservists called up from the reserves will take part in a command and staff exercise from May 26-28, the Belarusian Defense Ministry reported.
"From May 26-28, under the leadership of Deputy Minister of Defense for Logistics - Chief of Logistics of the Armed Forces, Major General Andrey Burdyko, a command and staff exercise will be held with military command bodies, formations, military units, and logistics organizations of the Belarusian Armed Forces," the statement reads.
The Defense Ministry added that the theme of the exercise is the management of logistics support for troops in a crisis response operation. The goal is to achieve and maintain the required level of training for officials at all levels.
"Reservists will also participate in the command-staff exercise," the ministry added. The drills will be conducted at logistics support facilities for the first time.
