MOSCOW, May 7. /TASS/. Russia’s Almaz-Antey Group has developed specialized droneports for the deployment, servicing, and automation of the launch of unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) interceptors, the Group’s deputy CEO for air navigation system and dual-use products Dmitry Savitsky said in an interview with TASS.
"The creation and integration of specialized droneports for UAV interceptors into the security systems of critical infrastructure facilities is another new area of the group’s work on unmanned aerial vehicles. The deployment of a fleet of UAV interceptors at dedicated droneports reduces response time and increases efficiency in the use and maintenance of UAV interceptors by automating their launch, landing, and maintenance processes," he said.
Savitsky added that as of today the company has a number of unique developments, including specialized droneports for UAV interceptors, as well as solutions for integrating them into security systems at various facilities.
