Other countries seek to organize assembly of Russia’s Supercam drones

"Supercam S350 flagship drone is very much the focus of attention for foreign militaries due to the high efficiency it has demonstrated in the course of the special military operation," Yekaterina Zgirovskaya said

DUBAI, November 18. /TASS/. A number of countries have expressed an interest in acquiring technologies and organizing the assembly of major components of Russia’s Supercam unmanned aerial vehicles, Yekaterina Zgirovskaya, spokesperson for the Unmanned Systems group, told TASS on the sidelines of the Dubai Airshow 2025 international aerospace exhibition.

"Our Supercam S350 flagship drone is very much the focus of attention for foreign militaries due to the high efficiency it has demonstrated in the course of the special military operation. The system is evolving, maintaining its reliability and gaining new capabilities. <...> Some countries are interested in technology transfer and the possibility of organizing the assembly of major components of Supercam drones on their soil," Zgirovskaya said.

According to her, foreign experts examining the Supercam S350 drone’s capabilities are interested in its resilience to electronic warfare. "This includes its ability to resist jamming and operate amid electronic countermeasures, as well as image quality, deployment time, and flight range. They also ask about the time required to train operators. Potential customers show strong interest in the Supercam S350 drone’s ability to coordinate with artillery systems and multiple rocket launchers, as well as with loitering munitions, whose role has grown in modern military conflicts. The Supercam S350 drones deployed in the special military operation successfully provide targets for well-known and highly effective attack drones such as Molniya-2, Lancet, and Skalpel-M, among others," she added.

Zgirovskaya stressed that the Supercam S350 drone was capable of performing aerial reconnaissance amid intense electronic countermeasures. "The Supercam’s capabilities are particularly valuable for assault teams on the frontline as the drone not only indicates targets but also provides their exact coordinates, integrating with other weapons, and collects objective control data on target engagement. The Supercam’s integrated operation with missile forces and artillery units significantly reduces the process of detecting a target, making a decision, and carrying out a strike. The amount of information and the accuracy of coordinates are incomparable with the data that ground reconnaissance can provide," the spokesperson pointed out.

In addition, the company said that potential customers are attracted by the drone’s simplicity and the versatility of its control station, which can be used to operate the entire Supercam range. "That said, there is no need to learn to use various control systems. Another interesting feature is that the Supercam can be launched from all-terrain vehicles, which increases the mobility and survivability of drone units," Zgirovskaya concluded.

Dubai Airshow 2025 is running from November 17-21.
