T-90MS tank enjoys latest technologies

According to Rosoboronexport CEO Alexander Mikheyev, the tank has reactive armor, bar screens, electronic warfare against drones, and differentiated armor principle

ABU DHABI, February 17. /TASS/. The upgraded T-90MS Proryv tank displayed at IDEX show enjoys the latest technologies and new technical solutions, Rosoboronexport CEO Alexander Mikheyev told TASS.

"The displayed tank received the latest technologies and new technical solutions. It has reactive armor, bar screens, electronic warfare against drones, and differentiated armor principle. It is therefore protected against FPV drones, antitank missiles and grenades," he said.

The tank also has a new fire control system and integrated information-command system and other innovative solutions. T-90MS has a higher firepower due to new armor-piercing subcaliber, fragmentation shells with remote detonation, and guided missiles.

"Our partners were excited when they learned that Rosoboronexport will bring T-90MS tank to IDEX 2025. We have numerously heard generals of various armies say it is the best tank," Mikheyev said.

He expects major interest in the tank from Middle East and North African partners, who are well aware of the Russian armor and value its reliability and effectiveness. Other friendly countries are also invited to cooperate, he added.
