As many as 27 terrorist attacks on transportation, energy, defense and critical infrastructure sites have been thwarted in Russia since the beginning of 2024, Federal Security Service (FSB) Director Alexander Bortnikov said at a meeting of the National Anti-Terrorism Committee.
"The enemy has stepped up activities aimed at damaging important transportation, energy, defense and other critical infrastructure sites. Government bodies and law enforcement agencies are taking the necessary measures to ensure the security of facilities involved in providing supplies for the special military operation and the country’s new regions," Bortnikov pointed out.
"Twenty-seven terrorist attacks on such facilities were thwarted through timely actions," he added.
