MOSCOW, December 23. /TASS/. Russian forces repelled two Ukrainian attacks in the Krasny Liman area in the past day, the Defense Ministry said in a statement.

"In the Krasny Liman area, units of Battlegroup Center repelled two attacks by assault teams of the 63rd Mechanized Brigade of the Ukrainian armed forces and the 12th Special Forces Brigade near Torskoye in the Donetsk People’s Republic and Chervonaya Dibrova in the Lugansk People’s Republic. In addition, air and artillery strikes hit troops and equipment of the 67th Mechanized Brigade of the Ukrainian armed forces in the Serebryansky forestry area," the statement reads.

The enemy lost up to 150 troops, a tank, two armored personnel carriers and a D-30 artillery system in the past day.
